Charley & Nigel

Walking down the aisle was incredible – the room is so gorgeous that it was like being in a fairytale.

Their story…

Rose gold, pinks, greens and pastels set the scene for Charley and Nigel’s day

Swancar’s such a unique and beautiful building with so much character. We felt so cared for and at ease throughout every step, which made the planning much easier. Hannah, our wedding planner, was amazing – nothing was too much trouble

The detail:

We opted for candelabras, tealights and little sparkles throughout. Rose gold touches were used in our table plan and table numbers to match our theme.

We had a three-tier semi naked cake that looked and tasted amazing! We chose lemon, sticky toffee and cherry bakewell as our flavours and then brought a rose gold Mr and Mrs Reilly topper to finish it off.

A harpist played while our guests arrived, throughout the ceremony and drinks reception – she was amazing! The acoustics at Swancar made it sound just beautiful. During the meal we played our favourite romantic tunes and in the evening we had a DJ.

Standout moments:

Walking down the aisle was incredible – that room is so special and gorgeous that it was like being in a fairytale.

The food and hospitality of the Swancar Team went beyond our expectations. The evening chip shop buffet is by far the best meal we’d ever had.

We felt like royalty and were so looked after from when we first arrived at the venue to get ready, right until we checked out the day after.

Top tip:

Don’t worry about anything. It’s about you and your partner and as long as you’re both there – it will be the best day ever!
