Latasha & George

It was the most magical day of our lives. We were on cloud nine from start to finish.

Their story…

A classic country style was created for Latasha and George’s day with dusty rose and navy touches throughout. –

As soon as we saw Swancar we were instantly in love. It was everything we’d ever imagined and when we came to visit it just took our breath away. It was us and our style down to a tee. We loved the exposed beams in the Oak Hall, and the fantastic driveway up to the venue.

The detail:

We used chrome lanterns with beautiful flowers and fairy lights trailing out onto the table for our centrepieces. We also had large clear balloons tied to the lanterns filled with ivy and a rose gold foil around the bottom.

We chose a four-tiered naked caked with my favourite flavour, white chocolate and raspberry, and George’s favourite, chocolate fudge cake and it was finished with a rose gold silhouette of George and I with our two dogs.

Our order of the day was displayed on a painted wooden pallet that was wrapped with fairy lights and ivy and the table plan was engraved onto a beautiful mirror. We also had 5ft MR & MRS PARKIN lights in the Oak Hall.

We had a magic mirror photo booth where guests got to keep a copy of the images and a second one was put into an album for us to look back.

We travelled in a 1920 Rolls Royce car to Swancar from the church and we put on an old red London bus to take our guests.

We had a solo guitarist during the day and a live band played sets until the end of the night.

Standout moments:

It was the most magical day of our lives. We were on cloud nine from start to finish – even the weather was perfect. Everyone made it special, we cannot thank every person involved enough!
